Portfolio Slicer with Excel 2010

To use Portfolio Slicer with Microsoft Excel 2010 and you will need to download the free Excel add-in from Microsoft: "Microsoft SQL Server 2012 PowerPivot for Microsoft Excel 2010".

After PowerPivot add-in is installed, you will need to enable it:

• Click on menu "File" and choose "Options".
• In the "Excel Options" window click on the tab "Add-Ins".
• At the bottom of this screen click on drop down box next to "Manage:" and choose "COM Add-ins" and then click on the button "Go..."
• Check box next to "PowerPivot for Excel" and click "OK".
• Now PowerPivot add-in for Excel 2010 is enabled and you should see additional menu item "PowerPivot".
